David Lynn Selby is an American film, television and stage actor. He is perhaps most well known for playing Richard Channing in the primetime soap opera Falcon Crest from 1982-90. Selby has also had prominent roles in the television shows Dark Shadows, Flamingo Road, and the 1980 film Raise The Titanic. Also a published writer, Selby has written several books including novels, memoirs, and collections of poetry.
