Joel Edgerton is an Australian actor, director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his roles in films such as Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002), Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005), Kinky Boots (2005), Animal Kingdom (2010), Warrior (2011), The Thing (2011), The Odd Life of Timothy Green (2012), Zero Dark Thirty (2012), and The Great Gatsby (2013). He voiced Metal Beak, the main antagonist of Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole (2010). He starred as Ramesses II, the main antagonist, in the 2014 biblical film Exodus: Gods and Kings.
