About Amy Alcott:
Amy Alcott is an American professional golfer and golf course designer. She became a member of the LPGA Tour in 1975, and won five major championships and 29 LPGA Tour events in all. She is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. She is part of the architectural team designing the golf course for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
You could argue that if the average golfer plays a golf course with 430-yard par 4s and they always miss the green, that's good practice. It's definitely great practice to play a course that's too long for you.Amy Alcott
